The Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala conducted the Annual Inspection of SLAF Combat Training School Diyatalawa  and SLAF Station Piduruthalagala on  16th October 2015.

 The Commander, upon arrival for the inspection reviewed the AOC’s parade commanded by the Commanding Officer SLAF Diyatalawa, Air Commodore DJC Weerakoon.

During the course of the inspection the Commander visited all areas of the Station.  Concluding the inspection, the Commander addressed all ranks including the civilian personnel at the Station main assembly hall and commended the work of the Commanding Officer and the Staff in maintaining the Station at a high standard and emphasized the need to contribute their best to the Air Force at all times.

At SLAF Station Piduruthalagala, Commanding Officer Wing Commander PC Dissanayake received the Commander on his arrival and a Street Lining was accorded the Commander. The Commander inspected all areas of the Station and appreciated the level of development of the Station.

On conclusion of the inspection, the Commander addressed all ranks of the station and praised the commendable job they had performed. The Commander awarded commendations to 26094 Sargent Wickramasinghe RMS ( Acct Assists CP I) for his outstanding meritorious work.
