Commander of the Sri Lanka Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala declared open the newly constructed Ridge Chalet and Swimming Pool at Pallekele, Kandy on 23 October 2015.

The project was carried out by Civil Engineering Wing at SLAF Base Katunayake under the supervision of Directorate of Civil Engineering.

 Air Force Board of Management, Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sigiriya,Officers and other ranks were also present at the ceremony.
