An all-night Pirith Chanting ceremony followed by an almsgiving was held at SLAF Station Morawewa on 14th and 15th November 2015 under the Patronage of the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Morawewa, Wing Commander Sulochana Marapperuma.

Religious blessing were invoked on the fallen heroes who made the supreme sacrifice in protecting our motherland, those who died whilst on active service at the station, all ranks, civilian staff presently serving in the SLAF station.
