Under the guidance of the chairperson of the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghala, the Seva Vanitha Unit at SLAF Base Ratmalana visited Ward no. 3 of Mulleriyawa hospital on 14 December 2015. 

This female ward has been maintained by the SLAF since 1985 with the SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit complementing the maintenance effort by launching various donation and entertainment activities periodically for the welfare of the inmates of the ward.

Base commander SLAF Base Rma Air Commodore Ravi Jayasinghe, and  Mrs Sandya Jayasinghe, Officers,Airmen and airwomen took part in the event.
