The Graduation Ceremony of Course No. 09 of the Defence Services Command and Staff College Sapugaskanda was held at the Main Auditorium of DSCSC. State Minister of Defence Hon. Ruwan Wijewardene graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

A total of 19 Officers from the Sri Lanka Air Force graduated at the ceremony.

Squadron Leader Omar Karim from the Bangladesh Air Force received the “Golden Owl Award” for the Most Outstanding foreign student of Air Wing while Wing Commander WUS De Silva received the “Golden Owl Award” for the Most Outstanding Sri Lankan Student of the Air Wing.

Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi, Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Kolitha Gunatilleke, Commanders of the Sri Lanka Army and Navy, Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala, Members of the Board of Management of the SLAF and Senior Officers of the tri forces were present the occasion.
