The Certificate Awarding Ceremony of the No. 64th NCOs' Course

The certificate awarding ceremony of No. 64th Non Commissioned Officers’ Management Course was held at Astra Multifunctional Hall of the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay on 18 December 2015. The Command Sports Officer Air Cdre WLRP Rodrigo graced the ceremony as the Chief Guest and the Commandant of the Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay Air Cdre HMSKB Kotakadeniya also witnessed the event.
The primary objective of conducting this course is to impart a sound academic and managerial knowledge base while sharpening leadership qualities within Non Commissioned Officers of the SLAF. The course runs through a well-formed Syllabus over a scheduled period of 10 weeks. The comprehensive course is affiliated to the University of Rajarata and all Non Commissioned Officers who fulfil the required criteria will be awarded with a certificate in management. The No. 64 batch comprising of 40 Senior Non Commissioned Officers of SLAF, 43 Junior Non Commissioned Officers of SLAF, 01 Senior Non Commissioned Officer of SL Army, 01 Chief Petty Officer and 01Petty Officer of SL Navy. Certificates were awarded to above declared course for 86 Non Commissioned Officers to acknowledge the successful completion of the course.
17383 F/Sgt Rathnayake WRADL (Aero E&I Sp I) was named as the best all-round Senior Non Commissioned Officer while 28691 Cpl Dharmasiri MW (Log Asst. Sp I) was named the best all-round Junior Non Commissioned Officer. Other special award winners are as follows.
