Air Force Dominates National Kabadi Championship 2010

Sri Lanka Air Force Men and Women Kabadi teams emerged Champs at the National Kabadi Championship 2010 on 5th March 2010.
Continuing the victorious run of SLAF Sportsmen and women both men’s and women’s Kabadi teams of the SLAF emerged National Champs for the year 2010
The tournament was held at Weliweriya Police grounds under lights. In the Semi Finals both the SLAF men and women’s teams defeated the Navy men and Navy women (Defence Services Champions) by good margins. In the finals the men defeated the Defence Champion Army team comprehensively by 18/8 while the airwomen beat the strong Army team by 8/6 to clinch both National Championships.
