The SLAF men's Tug of War team emerged Champions at the '13th National Tug of War Championship  finals defeating Sri Lanka Army men's team,  on 27 December 2015 at 'Navinna' ground Maharagama.  SL Navy, Police and a large number of teams participated at the tournament.

The Director Sport of Sri Lanka Mr. Ruwan Chandra graced the occasion as the Chief Guest while the Chairman of Air Force Tug of War Group Captain KC Geethapriya, Officers and Airmen were also present at the event.
