New Pre School for Ekala

The new Pre School of SLAF TTS Ekala was declared open by the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala and the Chairperson of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit Mrs.Samanthi Bulathsinghala, Today ( 07 January 2015)
The former Pre-School which was established in an ordinary married quarter in the TTS with limited facilities was upgraded into a fully fledged Pre School with modern outlook and facilities have been enhanced to cater the extensive demand of the neighbouring civilian families.
Presently there is a higher demand to enlist from outside students which is double the amount of SLAF requirement. At present, there are 39 students available in this School under three categories as Play Group, LKG and UKG. So far 20 kids have been enlisted for Year 2016 and 13 kids out of them are from civilian families. Pre-School consists of 3 qualified teachers and close supervision of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit helps the improvements.
The extended facilities are included with adequate space for modern classroom facilities, playing area, swimming pool and audio / visual facilities.
Construction work of preschool with modern facilities was done under the close supervision of the Director Civil Engineering, Air Vice Marshal Ranil Gurusinghe and the Commanding Officer, Group Captain MJR Perera.
Chief Recruiting Officer of SLAF Air Commodore DJC Weerakoon, Commanding Office of SLAF TTS Group Captain MJR Perera , Officers, other ranks, parents and Kids were participated at the opening.
