The Sri Lanka Air Force Netball team became the runners-up after an extremely hard fought game against the Sri Lanka Navy team at the National Netball Championship concluded yesterday (30 January 2016). The teams were so evenly matched that an extra time was required to score 53/52 for the final decision. The tournament was held at North Central Sports Complex at Anuradhapura and 18 Net Ball Teams Participated in this tournament.

The Best Center Court Player award was awarded to LAC Thilini Wattegedara of SLAF.
