With the view of facilitating Disabled in Action (DIA) personnel who injured while in combat operations, the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala has authorized financial grants to purchase Artificial Prosthetic Limbs   as a distress relief for them.

A donation ceremony was held on 05 February 2016 at the Seva Vanitha Unit, AFHQ Colombo under the patronage of the Chairperson of SLAF SVU Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghala.

The monetary relief measures were granted to Five (05) DIA service members through the Ranaviru Welfare Fund (RWF).

Director Welfare Air Vice Marshal KFR Fernando and Air Cdre PDA Maristella was also present at the occasion.
