With the view of facilitating numerous requests made by the NOKs of servicemen Killed in Action (KIA), Disabled in Action (DIA) personnel, the Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala has authorized to release financial grants to purchase Artificial Prosthetic Limbs and financial grants for NOKs of KIA service members.

A donation ceremony was held on 24 March 2016 at the Seva Vanitha Unit, AFHQ Colombo under the patronage of the Chairperson of SLAF SVU Mrs. Samanthi Bulathsinghala.

The monetary relief measures were granted to NOKs of KIA and DIA service members through the Ranaviru Welfare Fund (RWF).

Acting Director Welfare AVM KFR Fernando was also present at the occasion.
