Sri Lanka Air Force Rugby team won the Defence Services Rugby Championship 2016 beating SL Navy by 38-18 in the finals concluded at Mahinda Rajapakshe Stadium,Diyagama on 10 April 2016.

Air Vice Marshal RJ Pathirage, Director Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering of SLAF graced the occasion as the chief guest.
