Catering Assistants’ Basic Course 2/2015

Certificate Awarding Ceremony of Catering Assistants’ Basic Course 02/2015 was held at the Hospitality Management School, Sri Lanka Air Force Station, Sigiriya on the 26 April 2016.

Trainees have completed their five month basic training course and were trained on Kitchen Arrangements, Menu Planning, Eastern & Western Cookery, Preparation of Desserts, Preparation of Sauces & Pastries, Grooming & Hygiene, Dining in/ out Procedure, General Administration and English Language.

Procurement Officer –Tender, Procurement Division, Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo, Group Captain SR Udakumbura graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.

12 basic trainees from the Catering Assistants’ Basic Course (2/2015) were awarded the certificates at the occasion.
The Trophy for the best student of the course was awarded to 46671 AC Weerasinghe WMPC.

The Commanding Officer of the Station Group Captain LHN Jayathilake, the Chief Instructor Hospitality Management School Squadron Leader KGBMS Kularathne, Officers, other ranks were also present at the ceremony.
