SLAF Corporate Plan 2016 -2018 Launches

A copy of the SLAF Corporate Plan for 2016-2018 was handed over to the Secretary to the Ministry of Defence Eng. Karunasena Hettiarachchi by Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala at the Ministry of Defence yesterday (11th May 2016).
SLAF Corporate Plan 2016-2018 incorporates well defined and achievable Strategic Goals and Objectives with a realistic Action plan, Implementation plan, Procurement plan, Training plan, Internal Audit plan and a financial plan. The strategies and plans are revised based on the current duties and activities entrusted to the Air Force by the State.
The plans for 2016 have already been implemented up to date. However, this SLAF Corporate Plan together with its activities and action plan will be constantly reviewed based on the activities undertaken and new challenges faced by the Air Force in the rapidly changing environment of the present day.
Handing over of the first copy of the SLAF Corporate Plan 2016-2018 to Commander of the Air Force Air Marshal Gagan Bulathsinghala by the President of the Board Air Commodore Sudarshana Pathirana was done on 10 May 2016 at the Air Force Headquarters.
Chief of Staff Air Vice Marshal Ranil Gurusinghe, Members of the Board Air Cdre Andrew Wijesuriya, Air Cdre Priyantha Weerasinghe, Air Cdre Roshan Biyanvila, Gp Capt Amal Wimalaratne and Sqn Ldr Ranjith Somathilaka participated at the presentation.
