Sri Lanka Air Force became the runner-up at the second Defence Services Games’ Golf tournament held at the Nuwara-Eliya Golf Course from 11th to 13th May 2016 while the Sri Lanka Navy emerges the Champions.

The tournament was. Golfers representing the Army, Navy and Air Force also took part in the tournament.

Chief of Staff of the SLAF Air Vice Marshal Ranil Gurusinghe , Air Commodore Sudarshana Pathirana, Group Captain Prasanna Ranasinghe, Officers and other ranks  of the SLAF also participated in the tournament.
