Mobile Dental Clinics at SLAF RTS Vanni and Mudukulama Prajashalawa

A Multidisciplinary Mobile Dental programmes were conducted by SLAF RTS Vanni on 12th and 13th May 2016.
The purpose of this programme is to provide efficient and effective Dental care for service personnel of the SLAF where is no adequate Oral Health Care service. 529 service personnel were participated for the dental clinic.
A team comprising of 07 Dental Doctors including CO Dental Hospital SLAF Station Colombo Group Captain JPW Jayawickrama and 44 Dental Assistants conducted this programme to provide preventive and curative dental care for all service personnel of SLAF RTS Vanni.
In parallel, a Mobile Dental Clinic was also conducted at “Mudukulama Prajashalawa” on 13th May 2016 as a community project for underprivileged school children and civilian of the area.
30 school children and 12 civil personnel were treated during the dental clinic.
