Sri Lanka Aviation Unit in South Sudan Celebrated Vesak festival in Bor with various religious activities at the unit premises.

The religious activities started with a morning alms giving. A “Dharma Sakachcha”, “Buddha Pooja” and “Dharma Dheshana” was broadcasted in the evening with the participation from the Korean Engineering Unit and the Force Protection Unit of Nepal.

Meanwhile a food donation programme was conducted in the afternoon in Bor. The night became more glamorous with the illumination of Vesak lanterns. It took attraction of the other Nations of the UN compound which were refreshed by the “Beli Mal Dansela”.
