SLAF Emerged Champions at the Josephian Sculling Regatta - 2016
The Air Force Rowing team participated at the ‘The Josephian Sculling Regatta - 2016’ held on the waters of the Beira Lake from 16 to 18 June 2016.
The event was organized by the St. Joseph’s College Rowing Club consisting of Single Sculls, Double Sculls and Quadruple Sculls events for age groups and Open categories.
Both Air Force Men’s and Women’s team emerged Champions in the Men’s Open Category and the Women’s Open category winning all three Gold Medals on offer in each category after three competitive days of rowing beating arch rivals of the Sri Lanka Army and Sri Lanka Navy Rowing Clubs.
