SLAF Base Vavuniya conducted a Workshop on ‘Sustainable Agriculture Practices for Crop Cultivation and Live Stock Production’ at the Base premises on 7th and 8th July 2016.

Resident farmers of the Vavuniya area privileged to participate this workshop and their positive participation could be observed as 122 participants attended for the same.

The workshop was aimed to impart knowledge on Animals Husbandry, Advantages of using Organic Fertilizer and Disadvantages of using Chemicals and Fertilizer. Assistance of Command Agro Unit SLAF Base Katunayake assured the successful completion of the event.
