SLAF Women’s Archery Team emerged the champions in the 09th Defence Services Archery Championship 2016 concluded on 21 July 2016 at the Regimental Center, Sri Lanka Army Panagoda.

SLAF Women's team bagged 02 Golds, 01  Silver and 01 Bronze Medal.

Director General Personal Rear Admiral S Jayakody graced the occasion as the chief guest. Chairman Archery Group Captain HU Wijeweera , Officers and other ranks also witnessed the finals.
