SLAF Taekwondo Team participated at the 2nd Korean Ambassadors KUKKIWON Cup Taekwondo Championship 2016 at Sport Hostel Complex Gymnasium, Colombo 07 on 08, 09 & 10 July 2016.

The final matches concluded on 23 July 2016 at the Musaeus College Auditorium Colombo 07.

SLAF team won overall runner-up securing 2 Gold, 2 Silver and 1 Bronze medal.  Sports Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara and Korean Ambassador of Sri Lanka graced the ceremony as the chief guests.
