Medical and Dental Screening Campaign for Wattapalai Central College

A Medical and Dental Screening Campaign was conducted at the Wattapalai Central College on 29 July 2016 by SLAF Station Mullaitivu.
All together 14 medical personnel including 03 Medical Staff with the Medical Officer from SLAF Station Iranamadu, 05 Dental Staff with the Dental Officer from SLAF Base Vauniya and 06 Medical Staff from MI Room SLAF Station Mullaitivu contributed for the campaign under guidance of the Commanding Officer SLAF Station Mullaitivu, Wing Commander GSN Priyadarshana.
The campaign mostly focused on health issues in childhood obesity, oral and general hygienic issues, vision problems and cardiac related problems among school children.
297 School children and 36 school teachers at Wattapalai Central Collage attended for the medical and dental screening campaign.
