A Delegation of Indian NDC Visits Air Force Headquarters

A 17-member delegation of the Indian National Defence College New Delhi - 2016 comprising senior Officers of Tri-Services from India who are currently on their Overseas Study Tour to Sri Lanka, paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters today (23 August 2016).
The delegation was headed by Major General Sunil Srivastava VSM. On their arrival to Air Force Headquarters, they were received by Air Vice Marshal Vijitha Gunaratne, the Director Training of the Air Force. Thereafter, the head of the delegation Major General Sunil Srivastava VSM, called on Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Vice Marshal CR Gurusinghe.
A presentation was conducted by Group Captain Lasitha Sumanaweera, the Senior Staff Officer Air Operations on ‘Post conflict role and challenges’ of the Sri Lanka Air Force. Subsequently, interactive Q&A session was held with the participation of Members from the SLAF board of Management. On conclusion, symbolic mementos were exchanged to mark the event.
