Ground Stewards’ Advanced Course 1/2016
The certificate awarding ceremony of Ground Stewards’ Advanced Course (01/2016) was held at Hospitality Management School, Sri Lanka Air Force Station, Sigiriya on 06 of September 2016.
15 advanced trainees from the Ground Stewards’ Advanced Course (1/2016) were awarded with certificates. The trophy for the best student of the course was awarded to 42459 LAC Pathirane GKMVC.
The trainees have completed a six month of advanced training course where they were focused on Responsibilities and Duties of Ground Stewards, Catering procedure and Administration, Admin and Non public Accounts knowledge, Hygiene, House Keeping, Simple cookery practical, Food and Beverages Practical, English Knowledge, Computer Application and Project preparation
Commanding Officer No 02, Supply & Maintenance Depot, Sri Lanka Air Force Base Hingurakgoda, Group Captain HMMSB Herath graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Commanding Officer SLAF Station Sigiriya Group Captain LHN Jayathilake, Chief Instructor Hospitality Management School Flight Lieutenant Nuwan Chandraprema, All Officers and Other Ranks of the Station also present at the closing ceremony.
