Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo  won the Inter Unit Hand Ball Championship 2016 beating SLAF Base Katunayake Regiment wing  by 21-19 in the finals concluded at the SLAF Base Katunayake today (14 September 2016).

At the women's game, SLAF Base Katunayaka  defeated SLAF Base Anuradapura  by 3-2 points and clinched the women's championship.

Director Civil Engineering Air Commodore MRK Samarasinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Base Commander SLAF Base Katunayaka  Air Commordore  Sagara  Kotakadeniya, The Chairman SLAF Hand Ball Air Commodore Janaka Nanayakkara, Officers and other ranks also witnessed the finals.
