Inter Unit Tug of War Championship 2016
SLAF Base Katunayake Regiment wing and SLAF Trade Training School Ekala emerged as men’s and women’s Champions respectively at the Inter Unit Tug of War Championships 2016 held at SLAF Base Katunayake on 04 October 2016.
SLAF Station BIA men’s and women’s teams competed in the finals but ended up runners up in both categories.
The Director Health Services Air Commodore LR Jayaweera graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Chairman SLAF Tug of War, Group Captain KC Geethapriya, senior officers, officers and other ranks were also present at the event.
