Sri Lanka Air Force Trade Training School became men’s champions and Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo emerged Women’s champions at the Inter Unit Karate Championship 2016 concluded on 06 October 2016  at the AFHMC, Thummulla.

SLAF Station Colombo became Men's runners up and SLAF Academy China Bay became women's runners up at the Championship.

Director Logistics of SLAF Air Commodore WMKSP Weerasinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
