Inter Unit Power Lifting Championship 2016
SLAF Base Ratmalana Tech Formation and SLAF Trade Training School Ekala emerged the men’s and women's Champions at the Inter Unit Power Lifting Championship 2016 which was concluded on 11 October 2016 at SLAF Base Katunayake.
SLAF TTS Ekala and Station BIA became Joint runner up in the men's Category and SLAF Academy China Bay became the women’s runner up.
SGT Lasantha RMRPRC of SLAF Base Ratmalana Tech Formation and Aircraftwoman Randeni RPSL of Academy China Bay were adjudged the best Lifters in their categories.
Director Welfare of SLAF Air Vice Marshal KFR Fernando graced the occasion as the chief guest. Chairman SLAF Weight Lifting Air Vice Marshal LHA Silva, Officers and Other ranks were also present at the occasion.
