Inter Unit Basket Ball Championship 2016
Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay and Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo emerged men’s and women’s Champions at the Inter Unit Basketball Championship 2016 at the Indoor Basketball court of the SLAF Health Management Centre (HMC), Tummulla on 14 October 2016.
Sri Lanka Air Force Station Colombo and Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake men’s and women’s team competed in the finals but ended up runners up in both categories.
Director Ground Operations of SLAF Air Vice Marshal K Yahampath graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. The Chairman SLAF Basketball, Air Commodore PDKT Jayasinghe, senior officers, officers and other ranks were also present at the event.
