Tech Formation SLAF Base Rathmalana and SLAF Station BIA emerged men’s and women’s Champions respectively at the Inter Unit T - 20 Cricket finals today (18 October 2016) at the Rifle Green Grounds, SLAF Station Colombo.

In the men's finals, Tech Formation SLAF Base Ratmalana set a target of 137 runs for 6 wickets in their 19.4 overs and SLAF Station Iranamadu scored only 134 runs for 7 wickets in their 20 overs.

In the women's match, SLAF Station BIA were bowled out in 5 overs but scored 45 runs for 2 wickets, SLAF Academy China Bay could manage only 26 runs for 5 wickets in 4 overs.

Director Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering Air Vice Marshal JP Wanigatunge was the Chief Guest at the occasion. Chairman SLAF Cricket Air Cdre RS Biyanwila, Commanding officer of SLAF Station Colombo, Air Commodore MDAP Payoe, Officers and Other ranks were also present at this event.
