SLAF Fighter Controllers Categorization Board Completes

The SLAF Fighter Controllers Categorization Board conducted by the Indian Air Force Examiners with the participation of SLAF Fighter Controllers was successfully completed on 24th October 2016 at the No 01 Air Defence Radar Squadron, Sri Lanka Air Force Base Katunayake.
During the three week programme, the Fighter Controllers went through a series of lectures, discussions and practical sessions under the guidance and supervision of the IAF personnel. During the evaluation process, the SLAF Fighter Controllers underwent a series of written, practical and viva-voice tests. A total of 5 officers were upgraded to Category “BEE” while another officer’s current category of “BEE” was revalidated.
The closing Address and certificate awarding was held at the No 1 ADRS under the auspices of the CO ADC&CC, Gp Capt OANS Fernando.
