British Deputy High Commissioner in Sri Lanka, Mrs Laura Davies visited SLAF Station Koggala on 25th October 2016. On her arrival she was received by the Commanding Officer Group Captain C Wickramaratne and was conducted to the war memorial. The deputy high commissioner laid a poppy wreath at the war memorial to honor heroes of World War II who had operated from the Royal Air Force (RAF) base at Koggala. Further, the deputy high commissioner devoted some time to go through historic documents and pictures available at the station depicting RAF contributions in the World War.
