The National Karate Championship – 2016 conducted by Karate Do Federation was held from 24th to 27th October 2016 at the Sugathadasa Stadium, Colombo.

SLAF Karate players bagged eleven (11) gold medals, eleven (11) silver medals and ten (10) bronze medals at the Championship.

The winners were selected to the National Karate Pool.
