Air Force ruggerite  Airman  Chanaka Chandimal was called in as a replacement to the National Team for the finals of Asian 05 Nation Rugby Championship 2010.

The SLAF Fly Half departed last evening (15 April 2010) to Singapore to join with the National team. Sri Lanka will play against Singapore and the winners will be promoted to the Premier Division from Division I category. In the semi finals Sri Lankans beat the Chinese Taipei by 37-7.
