Sri Lanka Air Force Station Palavi celebrated its 9th anniversary under the guidance of Commanding Officer Wing commander LDRP Gunawardana together with all officers, other ranks and the civilian staff on 1st November 2016.

The Formation day celebrations began with a parade which was reviewed by the Commanding Officer. An Elle tournament was conducted with the participation of Officers, Airmen and Civilian staff of the Station.
