A community projected was organized by the Second Sri Lanka Aviation Contingent on 09th November 2016 at Black Eagle School, Bor, South Sudan under the patronage of the Contingent Commander Wing Commander Sumudu Dahanayake.
 
Education items and Ration packs were distributed among the school children and the School name board was renovated by the contingent members.

Mr Gilbert Nantsa, the Advisor to Protection of Civilians, Mr Liban Haji the Field Administrator (Jonglei State), Mr Daniel Apet Director for Planning, Ministry of Education, South Sudan, participated at the event as invitees. Several members of UNMISS, School Staff, the Contingent Commander, Officers and Other Ranks of Sri Lanka Aviation contingent were also present at the event.
