Seva Vanitha Unit RTS Vanni Donates Ration Packs at Pampemadu Orphanage

Seva Vanitha Unit of SLAF RTS Vanni, carried out a Shramadhana Campaign and distributed ration and detergent packs among 20 children and 115 elderly personal at Pampemadu Orphanage on 14 November 2016 as a Community Service Program. The event was arranged under the directives of SLAF Seva Vanitha Unit and the guidance of Commanding Officer Group Captain PSN Fernando. Officers, Airmen & Airwomen (150 psnl) of the School participated in the event.
A shramadhana campaign was conducted at the orphanage to clean the surroundings and buildings by the service personnel. The day was full of activities and showcased the talents of the children and elderly personnel engaged in singing and dancing with RTS Calypso. The Air Force personnel joined in the activities and cheered on the performances of the young & elderly personal. Further, lunch and refreshments were provided after which the nutrition packs and gift packs were distributed. Commanding Officer and Other Service Personal spent the time interacting with them to share their happiness.
