Sri Lanka Air Force Regiment Training School Vanni became champions in the Inter Unit Baseball Championship 2016 at the SLAF TTS Ekala on 18 November 2016.

 Sri Lanka Air Force Bandaranayake International Airport team became runners up at the finals.

 Director Health Services Air Commodore (Dr) LR Jayaweera graced the finals as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Baseball Gp Capt SK Senarathne, Officers and other ranks also were present at the occasion.
