The Seva Vanitha Unit SLAF Base Katunayake organized an alms giving programme at NO 03 Ward Mulleriyawa Hospital on 16 November 2016. In addition, bed sheets, Milk powder, washing powder, coconut oil and some other commodities were handed over to the patients of the hospital. The SLAF calypso band entertained the inmates of the NO 03 ward during the programme.

 Base Commander Air Commodore Sagara Kotekadeniya, Mrs. S. Kotakadeniya, Officer in Charge Seva Vanitha Unit Wing Commander KDS Gunawardane and members of the Seva Vanitha unit SLAF Base Katunayake participated in the event.
