Graduation Ceremony of DSCSC Course No.10

The Graduation Ceremony of Course No. 10 of the Defence Services Command and Staff College Sapugaskanda was held at the Main Auditorium of DSCSC on 12 December 2016. His Excellency the President Maithripala Sirisena graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
A total of 126 officers comprising of Army (64), Navy (26), Air Force (24) and 12 foreign student officers graduated on this occasion upon the successful completion of the year-long course.
Wing Commander L.A.H.P Liyanaarachchi of the Sri Lanka Air Force was honoured with the coveted ‘Golden Pen’ for the best Commandant’s Research Paper. He was also adjudged the Most Outstanding Student Officer of the Air Wing and was awarded the “Golden Owl" Award.
State Minister of Defence, Hon Ruwan Wijayawardene, Chief of Defence Staff, Commanders of the Army, Navy and Air Force, Members of the Board of Management of the DSCSC, Senior Officers of the tri forces were also present the occasion.
