The Visit of Pakistan Air Force Soccer Team to Sri Lanka

A 17-member Soccer team from the Pakistan Air Force arrived in Sri Lanka on 14 December 2016.
The team, headed by Flight Lieutenant Atif Amir Shah, was cordially welcomed at the Bandaranaike International Airport by the officials of Sri Lanka Air Force Soccer.
The team will participate in 03 friendly matches with their counterparts during their stay which will be for a period of one week in Sri Lanka.
This is the 1st time that a Pakistani team is visiting Sri Lanka for a soccer tournament of this nature. The visit is a testament to the cordial relations between the PPAF and the SLAF and also of the warm relations between the two nations.
