Sri Lanka Air Force Station Palaly Celebrates it's 36th Formation day

Sri Lanka Air Force Station Palaly celebrated it's 36th formation day on 01 January 2017. To mark the occasion, personnel of the station carried out a Shramadana Campaign at “Kaithady Elders’ Home” on 30 December 2016.
The Formation Day celebrations began with a parade reviewed by the Commanding Officer Group Captain SDGM Silva. He addressed the gathering and thanked all who have contributed to meet the tasks and to uplift the standards of the Station.
After the parade, a religious ceremony was conducted to invoke the blessings for the fallen Heroes and for all personnel serving in the Station. The day’s celebration also included a all-rank breakfast, lunch and a cricket tournament with the participation of all service and civil personnel of the Station.
