The SLAF achieved another significant milestone in its history on 22 Jan 17 by initiating the functioning of the intensive Care Unit at SLAF Hospital Colombo. This fully fledged ICU has the facility to treat three critically ill patients simultaneously and has all required modern lifesaving and life sustaining medical equipment and other medical items. The SLAF is privileged to have the services of a Consultant Anaesthetist, Consultant physician and a Consultant Surgeon at its disposal around the clock. The patients are being managed by the Medical Officers and Medical staff of the SLAF Hospital Colombo.
