SLAF Men’s and Women’s Hockey teams won the championship in the 1st Kandy sixes Hockey Tournament 2017 held at Peradeniya University Grounds from 28 to 29 Jan 2017 which was organized by the Kandy District Hockey Association & Seethadevi Sports Club.

In the Men’s finals SLAF beat SL Army by 03 -01 and in the Women’s final SLAF beat SL Navy by 03- 02.
Chairman of SL Army Hockey Committee Major General Shavendra Silva graced the awards ceremony as the chief guest.
