The SLAF Men’s Soccer Team returned to the Island on 23 February 2017 after completion of a week’s tour in Pakistan under SLAF- PAF Sport exchange programme. The team participated in three friendly matches with PAF Soccer Team during the tour.

The tournament was conducted at PAF Academy Risalpur Pakistan on 17th to 21st Feb 17. The SLAF goal keeper LAC Arunasiri HMTR was announced as the ‘Best Player of the tournament’.  

This was the first time that the SLAF Soccer Team visited Pakistan for a Soccer Tournament of this nature. The visit was a testament to the cordial relation between the SLAF and PAF.
