A Delegation of Oman NDC Visits Air Force Headquarters
A 17-member delegation of the Oman National Defence College - 2017 comprising senior Officers of Tri-Services from Oman who are currently on their Overseas Study Tour to Sri Lanka, paid a visit to the Sri Lanka Air Force Headquarters on 20 March 2017.
The delegation was headed by Air Commodore Nasser Juma Mohamed. On their arrival to the Air Force Headquarters; they were received by Group Captain Shehan Wijenayaka. Thereafter, the head of the delegation Air Commodore Nasser Juma Mohamed, called on Chief of Staff of the Sri Lanka Air Force, Air Vice Marshal Sumangala Dias.
A presentation was conducted by Air Vice Marshal Sudarshana K Pathirana, the Director Air Operations on Air Ops during Humanitarian Operation and new development in the SLAF. Subsequently, interactive Q&A session was held with the participation of Members from the SLAF board of Management. On conclusion, symbolic mementos were exchanged to mark the event.
