The NCO Management School of Sri Lanka Air Force Academy China Bay held its 69th Non Commissioned Officers’ Management Course Award Ceremony on the 24th March 2017 under the Patronage of Air Commodore HN Abeysinghe who graced the occasion. The Commandant of SLAF Academy Air Vice Marshal PDKT Jayasinghe too witnessed this glamorous event along with the other Officers of the Academy.

 The primary objective of conducting this course is to arm the participants with a sound academic and managerial knowledge while sharpening leadership qualities of the Non Commissioned Officers of the SLAF. The course ran through a well-formed Syllabus over a scheduled period of 11 weeks. The comprehensive course is affiliated to the University of Rajarata and all Non Commissioned Officers who fulfilled the required criteria were awarded with a certificate in Management. The 69th Batch comprised of 46 Senior and 39 Junior Non Commissioned Officers of the SLAF, 01 Senior Non Commissioned Officer of the SL Army and 02 Senior Non Commissioned Officers of the SL Navy. At the Ceremony 88 awardees received certificates to mark the successful completion of the course.

21810 F/Sgt Pushpa Kumara KS ( Air Radio Sp I) was selected as the Best All- Round Senior Non Commissioned Officer, while 32747 Cpl Senanayake SAMAGK (Grd Std II) was named as the Best All-Round Junior Non Commissioned Officer. Other special award winners are as follows.
