ADC&CC at SLAF Station Mirigama Celebrates Its 11th Anniversary
Air Defence Command and Control Center (ADC&CC) SLAF Stn Mirigama celebrated its 11th anniversary on 29th March 2017 with a series of social and religious activities.
A Shramadhana campaign was conducted at the Base Hospital Mirigama to renovate and repair damaged buildings, parks and to clear the surroundings of the hospital premises on 24th Mar 17. Further, an almsgiving was conducted at the Airmen’s Mess on 28th Mar 17 in order to invoke blessings for all the service personnel and their families of the ADC&CC. A working parade was held on 29th Mar 17 at SLAF Stn Mir with the presence of the Commanding Officer.
The proceedings were concluded with a charity programme and a lunch arranged at the “Seth Sevana” elderly home for 195 inmates with the guidance of the Commanding Officer Gp Capt OANS Fernando and contribution of all ranks at ADC&CC SLAF Stn, to commemorate the formation day and to invoke blessings on late Air Cdre HBDJ Karunarathne.
