Sri Lanka Air Force Station BIA and SLAF Base Hingurakgoda won the Men’s and Women’s Championships respectively, at the inaugural Inter Unit Beach Volleyball championships 2017 concluded on 28 April 2017 at SLAF Base Katunayake.

SLAF Base Katunayake and Tech Formation SLAF Base Katunayake became the Men’s and Women’s runners up.

Director Administration of SLAF, Air Vice Marshal CP Welikala graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Chairman SLAF Volleyball Air Commodore RN Thilakasinghe , Officers and other ranks also witnessed the finals.
